Advocacy for Historic Preservation

On December 10th, 2019, U.S.House of Representatives Candidate for Maryland's 7th District, Reba Hawkins gave an impassioned speech to the Baltimore Commission for Historic and Architectural Preservation urging that the residence of the late Jazz legend, writer, and radio and film personality Cabell "Cab" Calloway be designated as a historic landmark. 

Community Clean Up| District 7

I love my community and my city and District 7. I was out a few days ago helping to clean a blighted part of West Baltimore. I really care about the conditions that many of our citizens are living in. I've been recruiting my friends and employees to join with me to clean up and put a smile on Charm City. I am looking for people willing to join my own clean up initiative for Druid Hill Avenue. We must save Cab Calloway's house! I am running for office because I want to help people.
